4K Care Program
The Sauk Prairie School District offers a childcare option, 4K Care, for 4K age children. For the 2025-26 school year, 4K Care will be offered for morning or afternoon care with sites located at Bridges Elementary School and the Sauk Prairie Community Center.
In order to participate in 4K Care, students must be 4 years old by September 1 of the year the program begins. Toilet training is expected.
The 4K Care program is being offered through Sauk Prairie Schools Community Education. Registrations and payments will be through RecDesk.
4K Care will not be available on the six (6) Early Release Days during the 2025-26 School year.
Morning 4K Care at Bridges Elementary School
(18 spots available)
4K Care schedule: 8:00 - 10:50 a.m.
If enrolled in the district's 4K, participants will transition to their classroom 4K class at the conclusion of 4K Care. Recess and lunch is available to participants before transitioning from 4K Care to 4K classroom. (Lunch is available at cost to families through the Sauk Prairie Food Service.)
Transportation provided to participants enrolled in 4K at Sauk Prairie Nursery Center
Bridges Afterschool Club available at additional cost for care from 3:05 - 5:45 p.m.
Afternoon 4K Care at the Community Center

4K Care schedule: 10:50 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
If enrolled in the district's 4K, transportation will be provided for participants transitioning from 4K classroom at Bridges or Sauk Prairie Nursery. Recess and lunch is available to participants transitioning from 4K classroom to 4K Care. (Lunch is available at cost to families through the Sauk Prairie Food Service.)
Bridges Afterschool Club available at additional cost for care from 3:05- 5:45 p.m. (includes transportation back to Bridges)
4K Care Registration
Registration for 4K Care for the 2025-26 school year will open on Monday, February 3 at 10:00 a.m. Registration is through RecDesk. A non-refundable program registration fee of $200 is due at registration. A portion of this fee ($100) will be deducted from the first 4K Care monthly payment.
