Interested in getting rid of the invasive plants in your landscaping or yard? Ever wonder what your property looked like before there was concrete, asphalt, and buildings?
The Community Center is offering a hands-on workshop to reclaim and restore your landscape, backyard, or acreage from invasive plant species. Local naturalist Sue Kenney will guide participants in determining the best native community to which to restore their land or yard, different methods and best practices for removing and managing invasive plants, and introducing new native plants.
