Community Education Offers American Red Cross Certifications
Sauk Prairie Schools Community Education is proud to partner with American Red Cross trained instructors to offer certifications in Babysitter Training and CPR/AED/First Aid.
American Red Cross (ARC) Babysitter Training
The American Red Cross is the nation’s leader in babysitting classes and child care training. This class will prepare participants to become one of the most capable, trusted and confident caregivers in their community. In fact, 8 in 10 surveyed parents said they would pay more for a trained babysitter who holds Red Cross babysitting certifications.
Babysitter Training provides youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants to develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business keep themselves and others safe and help children behave; and learn about basic child care and basic first aid. The recommended age for this course is 11-15 years old.
Class is held at the Community Center.

American Red Cross (ARC) CPR/First Aid/AED Certification
Whether you need First Aid, CPR, and AED training that satisfies OSHA-mandated job requirements, workplace, or other regulatory requirements, or you just want to know how to keep your loved ones safe, the American Red Cross is your "go-to" source of emergency and safety training.
This class is taught in a blended learning format and the online portion (accessed via mobile desktop or tablet) must be completed prior to attending the Instructor-led skills session. Upon successful completion a valid 2 year digital certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED is issued.
In person class is held at the Community Center on October 30.
