Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports, and is enjoyed by all ages and abilities! Sauk Prairie Community Education offers both Pickleball Lessons and Skills Clinics, and open play. We host Pickleball Open Play in the Community Center indoor gym from October - May; lessons or clinics are offered about every 2-3 months. We offer both Beginner Lessons for brand-new players, and Intermediate Lessons and Skills Clinics for more advanced players. Beginner Pickleball Lessons

Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in the country—and it’s easy to learn! Our beginner lessons are designed for adults who are brand-new to the game or who would like a refresher. Come learn the fundamentals for playing pickleball, including scoring, rules, and different shots.

We are offering two sessions of Beginner Lessons this fall:

Open Play Pickleball

Sauk Prairie Community Education offers Open Pickleball play during the cold weather months from October through the end of May.  We have three courts available for open play.  Open play is open to all play levels, ages and gender.  We also offer a Womens only open play on Tuesdays at the community center.

Open Play is $5 per person/per visit OR $4 for Golden Eagle members.

We offer a $50 punch card ($40 for Golden Eagle members), which is good for 11 visits, which is equal to 11 plays for the price of 10.

We provide balls and have a few paddles available to use.

Pickleball Rentals at the Community Center

The Community Center is available to rent for private pickleball play.  Our gym, which contains three pickleball courts, starts at $50 per hour for Sauk Prairie School District residents. Please use the link below for more information on renting the Community Center.

Summer and Outdoor Pickleball

From Memorial Day through September, Community Education does not have any designated or scheduled times for open pickleball play in our Community Center gym.  During the summer months, play generally moves outside to the Culver Community Park or other area parks. Community Education does not have affiliation with these courts and does not schedule open play times.  

For information on playing outdoor pickleball at Culver Community Park or renting courts at Culver Community Park, please contact the Sauk Prairie Recreation Department.
